Typical Training Session
- Gradual warm up increasing in intensity to get the body ready for exercise
- Total body stretch
- Syllabus work including blocking and hand and leg combinations – practising these helps with fluidity of movements and reaction times
- Technique work – punching / kicking sequences – breakdown and execution of new punches and kicks
- Spot pad work - either centred around fitness and power or working on a specific technique
- Kick shield work – either centred around fitness and power or working on a specific technique
- Free time – this consists of practising self defence techniques, extra fitness work, stretching, one-2-one assistance with techniques.
OR
- Sparring (optional) – this is strictly controlled light continuous and points sparring both available to male and female members.
