Paul Childerley 4th Dan Black Belt is the founder and lead instructor of Prostyle Kickboxing. Paul started his martial arts career when he was just 15 at a local full contact kickboxing club and through the years has tried different forms of martial art as he progressed through the kickboxing ranks. Now, with over 20 years experience in martial arts, Paul has a wide and varied knowledge which makes his method of teaching challenging and enjoyable for all his students.
Paul joined the WUMA association in 1995 at their head quarters in Cheltenham learning the Hop Kin Do syllabus under Master Richard Hopkins, before moving to Bedfordshire in 1999 and starting his own club. This club is now the largest in Bedfordshire with a wide and varied student base.
Paul became World Champion in 2002 and defended the title for a amazing 6 years competing in Switzerland, Sicily, Denmark, Germany and Malta and made his mark on the -80kg section. In 1999 and 2009 Paul was awarded one of the highest honours in martial arts - Instructor of the Year.
